So I just celebrated my birthday. I had so much fun with family and friends.
But while I really enjoy celebrating starting the next chapter of my life, I feel like I need to give some love to the previous chapter first.
As many of you know I am huge on journaling and going through a self discovery process as often as I can. And what better a time for reflection then when I am ending one year of my life and starting another.
I had a beautiful and powerful journaling session this morning and I just knew that I had to share it with you.
So many things came up for me throughout this, but what I wanted to talk about today is the lessons I learned along the way.
Lesson #1 - Manifestation is Real
I started doing manifestation rituals shortly after I started my own business. I found Kathrin Zenkina (Manifestation Babe) and got inspired by all that she speaks on. If you don't know who she is check her out she is an influential boss babe who I really connected with early on in my business. I found out that the Law of Attraction is not some hocus-pocus thing like I originally thought it was. It is real and it is intense. When I first started focusing on what I wanted and only allowing those energies to take control I started to notice something. What I desired and focused on was coming true. It was piece by piece at first, and I chalked it up to coincidences and nothing more. Then it kept happening. I realized that I was manifesting these things. That I had this control. I started to "receive" what was being manifested and open myself up to all the possibilities it could bring. Now I have manifestation rituals I do all the time and love the results it brings.
Lesson #2 - Be Authentic
It really is the only way to be. Showing up as yourself, your real self not a fake social media version of you, is the best way to make real connections. Yeah it seems great to be the girl on IG that has 120k followers and has this amazing life and lives this extravagant lifestyle. However unless that is you...don't try and show up as her. Show up as you, because that is who your audience is desiring. If they wanted that girl....they would go find her. Instead they found you and they want you. So all you have to do is BE THE REAL YOU.
Lesson #3 - Outsourcing is Necessary
You have things you are good at in your business, life, and with your family. Instead of spending your energy focusing on doing tasks you struggle with or hate doing spend your time doing what you are passionate about and excel at and outsource the rest. It’s OK to ask for help. I promise. No one can do it all by themselves, and in all honesty, you shouldn't want to. You started your business because you loved it. It lights up your soul. Don't you want to spend more time doing what you love instead of stressing yourself out with the tasks you dislike. Not only that but by outsourcing it you are having these tasks done by an expert. Something that may take you 4 hours could only take them 1 because they have practice. More importantly than that though, if you hire an expert to do these tasks it should be better quality than if you struggle through it. Now I'm not saying that you can't do it. Because if you put your mind to it I'm sure you can. What I am saying is that for you to get on their level you will have to put in 10x more effort and take away from other tasks for your business and your life. So give yourself a break and outsource those things that you don't like in your life. That's why people like me exist (P.S if one of those things is social media management I'm your girl) because we are here to help and we actually enjoy doing so.
I'm sure I have learned much more than that. But in this celebratory moment that's all I've got for you. I hope this helped you because that was the whole goal as I wrote this. It took a lot out of me for each one of these lessons.
I'm one of those people who learns things the hard way. Or at least the not easy way. I normally try and try until I get it right. This is my way of giving you a break.
Learn from my lessons and my breakthroughs. Manifest your desires. Believe in what you want. Don't be afraid to ask for it. Always be yourself. That is the only way you can truly succeed. Share your wins, your failures, and your results. Make those genuine connections. Hire someone to help you out. Focus on what matters. Do what you love each and every day.
Much love. I hope you have a high vibe rest of your day.
